My Little Margie

This is Margie. She has changed quite a bit since these pics. Isn't she adorable? She is bulking up, putting on the pounds. She grew almost three inches in her first two months out of the womb. If I grew two inches I would be a whopping 5'6. Presdee adores her as you can tell from the pic below. She loves her little sis and is such a good big sister... most of the time. The other night I was video-taping Marge and Pres came and dropped a book on her face. She has also tried to bite her fingers, sit on her head, and feed her cookies. Margie is going to be one tough chick growing up with Presdee as her big sister. She is starting to smile when you talk to her and my dad almost had her laughing the other day. She is such a sweet girl. I am so blessed to have her.

My Girls

I now have 2 little girls! Margie was born on June 16th. She is so beautiful. I love being a mommy. I would do anything for my two little ones. I am definitely learning the power of a mother's love. I love to hold my babies and be there when they need me. I am coming to find out that they both need me all the time and at the same time. Having two is hard but it is the best. I thank my Heavenly Father everyday for sending His precious daughters to me. Don't take anything for granted. Life is Good!Time is Precious! Love your little ones.

Manilatas?

It is a combination of enchiladas and manicotti. I saw it on food network the show called "cooking for real". They looked so good! You take manicotti noodles and stuff them with a combo of shredded chicken, sour cream, tomatoes, and cilantro. Then you cover that in a cheese sauce made from a rux(my mom told me that's how it is spelled) the flour butter milk thing that makes a white sauce and cheese I would reccomend mozzerella. Then you bake that for like 30 min. Then there is this tomatillo sauce made with tomatillos, red onion, jalepeno that you roast and then blend it. I am going to try making them soon.

P.S. I will soon be posting pics and stuff from pres's 1st b-day.

The Controversy

I would like to share with the world what I discovered today. Mushrooms vs. Mullets
Today I asked my little sister to trim my bangs. It turned out to be a two hour process or rather a transformation of a mushroom into a mullet. Ok, I really don't have a mullet. No offense to those women who like the shroom look but my mother is not one of these women. In her words I quote. " I would rather have a mullet at least then I don't look like I have helmet head." My husband on the other hand had a strong a opinion that women should not have mullets. He said for himself he would have a mullet hairdo any day of the week but I wouldn't want my girl to have a mullet.

Its a Girl!

We are having another girl! We are so excited. Presdee is going to be a great big sister.Tate was sure it was a boy. But if we keep going at this rate we'll have enough girls for a girls basketball team. We are really struggling on deciding what the middle name should be for this baby. We have the first name decided.....If she is born on her due date (The Fourth of July) then maybe liberty or justice or maybe independence. Just kidding. But no really if you have any good suggestions on a middle name that sounds good with MARGIE let me know.

Boy or Girl?

What is your guess? A Boy? A Girl? We have a doctor's appointment on Monday and we will find out and let you know the real answer. I think Presdee needs a little sister. Tate wants a boy of course.

Christmas Time

I hope everybody had as good of a Christmas as I did. Presdee loved unwrapping the presents and playing with the wrapping and boxes. Tate did really good this year he picked out jewelry for me all by himself and I love it. It was really fun to surprise the moms (Wanda and Brenda) with an ultrasound picture in their present. Ultra sound pic. of what you might ask. Yep, you guessed it ..... we are having another baby. Surprise!
