So, we were watching Rocky 2 yesterday and you know the part when Mickey makes Rocky chase chickens.
Mickey: Why do you have to wear that stinkin' sweatsuit?
Rocky Balboa: It brings me luck, you know?
Mickey: Brings you luck! I'll tell you what it brings, it brings flies! Now here's what I want you to do... I want you to chase this little chicken.
Rocky Balboa: Hey yo, Mick, what do I got to chase a chicken for?
Mickey: First, because I said so. And second, is because chicken-chasing is how we used to train back in the old days. If you can catch this thing, you can catch greased lighting.
Rocky Balboa: Well, I'll do it if you say so, but it ain't very mature.
Mickey: Yeah, well neither are you very mature!
Then Tate says, "They based Mickey off of you. You are like a 26 year old female version of Mickey. You really are Mickey. He even talks to you"
I have to admit we have had conversations that replicate that of Mickey and Rocky's above.
Then in Young Women's today we had a wonderful lesson on our Divine Roles as Women. One of the most important roles being, a helpmeet and companion; comforting, supporting, and sustaining our husbands.
So, Tate I am always in your corner cheering you on. It may sound like an old man screaming his guts out but I am there. "Get on your feet!"
As a side note Tate is not a semi-illiterate blockhead but he is my Stallion.
I tear up every time when Rocky yells out, "Yo, Adrian. We did it." (We being Mick and Rocky, the dynamic duo that almost rivals Tate and MeriBeth)
